DITL + Arbonne 30 Days To Healthy Living Program

On Tuesdays we do all of the things!

It’s the one consistent day that I am in the home office, so Raymond and I have earmarked it “estate sale” day plus I squeeze in blogging work, content shots, and whatever else is on the weekly to do list!

This month I am working my way through Arbonne’s 30 days to Healthy Living Program (I mentioned it HERE). I first completed the program two years ago and had such good results with it that I try to go through it twice a year.

I’m making it sound like a complicated system but it’s actually really simple.

MORNING: SWAP COFFEE FOR A TIZZY

Tizzy just stands for “tea” + “fizz”.

Throughout the month, I replace my morning cup of coffee with a detox tea and an energy fizz stick. Coffee can be addictive and also acidic to the body. Swapping for tea loaded with milk thistle and elderflower encourages the liver to detox any of that acidity along with other toxins that it might need to release.

MORNING: SMOOTHIE FOR BREAKFAST

Hands down my favorite breakfast is a smoothie. They are convenient and can pack a punch (if done right). I’ve played around with different smoothie recipes by my all-time favorite is this Blueberry Smoothie.

  • 1/2 cup blueberries, frozen

  • 1/2 cup zucchini, frozen

  • 1/2 banana, frozen

  • 1/2 celery stalk, chopped

  • handful of spinach

  • water (or coconut water)

Add in one scoop of Arbonne’s vanilla protein powder and a half scoop of their Daily Fiber Boost.

As far as flavor, I don’t think there is anything out there that can beat the taste of their protein powder! It tastes like cookies; we should know as we have tried sooooo many protein powders (all vegan)!

Fiber Facts

Soluble fiber attracts water and forms a gel-like substance during digestion that slows down the process while lowering blood sugar and cholesterol. Avocados, broccoli and zucchini are especially rich sources of fiber. It might also boost immunity, given that it nourishes healthy bacteria in the gut biome - and much of your immune system operates in your gut.

We’ve made a consistent run of it by going to our church’s gym on Tuesday morning. Like the organizer I am, I write down the exercises so I can refer back to them in the future. I’m considering this Fitness Tracker by Inkwell Press.

LUNCH: SOMETHING LIGHT + GREENS DRINK

My go-to is a salad loaded down with beans, quinoa, and all the veggies! But today we had leftover stuffed peppers. They were amazing! (not pictured was the mushroom soup and the kale salad I downed) ;)

We swap vegan cheese for dairy versions; our go-to brands are VioLife or Follow Your Heart.

To wash down lunch, I make a greens drink (SuperFood Greens + GutHealth + Skin Elixir Collagen Booster). The Skin Elixir isn’t apart of the program but I make sure to keep it stocked around here. 36 fruits and veggies, hyaluronic acid for hair, skin, and nails (the vegan version of collagen), and a probiotic and prebiotic — I’m covering my bases with the vitamins!

AFTERNOON: GENTLE CLEANSE + ENERGY FIZZ AND MIND HEALTH

During the third week of the program, you add in the gentle cleanse and sip on it throughout the day. This is probably my favorite product out of the whole package! It simply encourages your body to release extra build-up that it might be holding on to. It’s not like a colon cleanse and it doesn’t require emergency trips to the bathroom, but I alwayssss feel 10 lbs lighter after I finish my third week!

I have the best of intentions when it comes to the afternoon, but that sleepiness can fall over me quickly. It could be the processing of lunch or just a natural rhythm. When it happens, I mix together an Energy Fizz and a Mind Health (not apart of the 30 DTHL program) for that jolt of focus and energy to get my through dinner.

DINNER + SPARKLING KOMBUCHA

Tuesdays dinner are on the lighter side as we both have activities in the evening which puts us getting home later. Part of the 30 DTHL program is that you eliminate alcohol, so I end the day with a sparkling kombucha, which is just kombucha mixed with sparkling water.

LATE NIGHT WORK SESSION

After I wash my face (with coconut oil), I head upstairs to squeeze the last bit of work out of the day.

Raymond and I have identified that we are in a season of our businesses that requires us to put in one more work session before bed. Not ideal and not sustainable, but for the short-term, we are committed to growing our businesses and expanding our offerings.

BED TIME

My absolute favorite! I loooooove crawling in the bed and settling in for a night of rest. In my cart at the moment are some updated pajamas. Mine are tiiiiiired. ;)

And there you have it! A little sneak into a day in the life plus what it’s like on a daily basis to go through Arbonne’s 30 DTHL program!

Aside from the swaps for coffee, alcohol, and dairy, the only other thing that you avoid during the month is gluten. And that my friend makes a huge difference in how I feel and how much energy I have during the week! Gluten belly is a real thing! I always notice a change in my stomach when I ditch it for 30 days!
