CROCK POT DINNER: Vegan Chili [VIDEO]

 

When it comes to being healthy, I believe the answer lies in what we eat. Moving and exercising is important to well being but the old saying rings true:

You cannot out work a bad diet.

When focusing on what we eat, the next answer lies in cooking at home, which is the environment in which you control.

The ingredients and the cooking methods.

In order to eat at home consistently, you need a plan.

A meal plan.

But what good is a plan if you don’t have any recipes that you like, that are simple and yet easy to cook, and that are healthy?

I believe in the power of meals at home. And I believe in the love shared around the dinner table rather than in the car driving to and fro soccer practices and gymnastics rehearsals.

I am not the poster child for multiple gadgets and appliances in the kitchen, I am however, a champion for the Crock Pot. Preferably a programmable one!

Set it and forget it.

We lean on our Crock Pot throughout the winter months to make baked potatoes, soups, and this chili!

Simple, tasty, healthy.
