Easy Fall Looks from Shop Style Your Senses
Do you remember the days when I used to blog for Habitat Restore?
There was a group of 4 of us and we would rotate through curating and writing posts for our local metro region. This allowed us (and the stores) to be opened up to local bloggers who were also talking about decorating (often on a budget) and DIY projects.
During that time, I met the face behind the local blog, Charming in Charlotte. Mallory focused mainly on life updates with a toddler and how she was turning their house into a beautiful home. She was such a light to be around and we just clicked.
Fast forward a few years and Mallory started to make the transition from home decor to fashion. Fashion was always her number one passion and her ultimate dream was to own a small boutique. I enjoyed her reviews and hauls and still have pieces in my closet that she recommended and that I LOVE!
Mallory and her family now live in Texas where she runs an online boutique called Shop Style Your Senses. I love watching their buying trips and styling recommendations through their Instagram page.
Mallory’s niche is affordable and approachable fashion for any woman, and truthfully, she has never steered me wrong with a buying decision!
I poured over her selection and came up with three easy looks for fall.
Easy Fall Looks
I am 100% here for dresses. Why?
They take up less room in my closet (1 piece instead of 2).
They are so easy to style.
They are effortless and comfortable.
They make you feel pulled together without really trying.
Short dresses are on the NO list for me at the moment. I feel restrained in them and also cold when I’m in a store or at church. Midi and maxis are my favorite even at my height of 5’2”.
I realize that sweaters and boots might not make an appearance until late fall, so my plan is to wear dresses in fall colors. Still comfy. Still seasonal. :)
Shop The Look
I remember owning a bodysuit in high school and it was one of my favorite tops to wear. Now they are making a comeback, I’ve been on the hunt to find one that I like.
Requirements are 1) it doesn’t pull, 2) it’s easy to snap 3) its full coverage on the bottom.
This bodysuit was adorable but unfortunately it was too small. There was no mention about the cheek cut in the product description so I took a chance. It wasn’t thong, but it wasn’t full coverage either. :P
I plan to return it.

I’ve been eyeing her scripture sweatshirts for over a year and finally pulled the trigger on this gray version.
I love the verse on the back that says “rise up and pray”. A great reminder for each of us!

Tips to Shop & Order
You can shop through their app or their website. I’m a website person myself but they offer live try-ons for app users.
Many of the items on the site will be marked “waitlisted”. Either it is a style that has already sold out or it is a style that is coming soon. Several items I had my eye on were waitlisted in my size but still had other sizes available. You can pre-order items that will be coming soon to ensure you get your size.

Notes of Interest
The return policy isn’t like that of Target or Amazon. You have 14 days to return an item and you are issued store credit when it is received.
Knowing what size to order can be tough to gauge which is why they offer their live try-on’s.
